By the 1920s, Conrad was considered a leading modernist writer. Modernism an experimental artistic movement that took place from late 19th to mid-20th century. The main theme of Joseph Conrad’s novels is alienation. depicts cultural, political, and aesthetic dimensions modernism not only by questioning past but drawing as well on wealth cultural material precursor genres rooted in Gothic conventions. picture suggested author presents multiple perspectives thematically disparate yet culturally intertwined issues such ethnicity espionage, consciousness electricity, formalism sensation, homosexuality tourism. From viewpoint genre, Heart Darkness comprises all features pertain fiction - novella, published early 1899, predates golden age quite period time. Mythopoeic space work represents its inner dimension, rife with images symbolic archetypal significance their connotations.
